Phileep Nowakowski is a 2028 C/RHP/MIF/OF with a 5-5 125 lb. frame from Ringoes, NJ who attends Poly Prep Country Day. Nowakowski worked from a variety of spots over the course of his event, starting as a primary C where he displayed a square set with quick movements and developing arm strength up to 62 mph. The arm action was compact and has young tools to build on in the future. Posted a 2.34 pop time. From both the OF and IF, he showcased quick twitch actions with the ability to change slots when needed at the latter, topping out at 68 mph from both spots. On the mound, Nowakowski controlled the body well through the delivery and repeated the actions well, releasing from a 3/4 slot up to 67 mph. He flashed developing spin on the CB with arm side run present on the FB at times. Offensively, the righty started from a slightly open stance with a simple leg lift trigger and hand speed through the zone to generate contact to all parts of the field. He kept the hands inside the baseball effectively with room to add strength and power potential in the future. Ran a 8.37 sixty yard dash.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
