Hayden Lundberg is a 2023 RHP/OF with a 5-10 140 lb. frame from Port Washington, NY who attends Paul D Schreiber. Wiry young build. Has good delivery mechanics with nice direction and extension down the mound, arm works well from a high 3/4's arm slot, repeats his mechanics well. Fastball worked up to 75 mph, mostly straight with occasional cutting action, maintained his velocity well over three innings and from the stretch, was very consistent throwing his fastball for strikes. Threw a big downer curveball as his breaking ball, had feel for hit and landed it well. Had a very effective outing with three scoreless innings with seven strikeouts. Key to development on the mound is simply getting stronger as everything else works. 7.16 runner in the sixty, plays the outfield when not on the mound. Right handed hitter, starts from a straight stance with a toe tap trigger, short hands driven swing with mid field to opposite field contact. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
