Brody Gundert is a 2024 RHP/1B, OF with a 6-4 215 lb. frame from El Cajon, CA who attends Christian Unified. Primary right-handed pitcher with a big frame and solid build. Full windup with a belt-high lift and closed front side landing down the slope. Hides the ball with a medium swing arm and 3/4 slot delivery. Fastball up to 86 mph (2098 RPM) with arm side run and some life through the top of the zone. Curveball in the low-70s and changeup around 73 mph (1629 RPM) complete his pitch package with ability to control the strike zone with all three. Fastball velocity plays up going in to right-handed hitters and then elevating late in counts. Tunnels the changeup from same arm slot and uses the curveball for glove side strikes. Excellent student with a 4.22 GPA.
