Johan Villarreal is a 2027 C/RHP/3B with a 5-8 150 lb. frame from Allen Park, MI who attends Western International. Medium frame with solid build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.95 seconds. Hits from relaxed set and even base, longer stride out into swing, barrel gets on plane well, solid bat speed, developing balance. Primary catcher, deep one-knee set, quick out of crouch with solid athleticism in lower half, full body in throws, clocked up to 69 mph. Also took infield reps, funnel works well out front, quick release, clocked up to 77 mph on throws. Named to 2023 Ohio Valley Workout Showcase Top Prospect List.
