Colin Pacholek-Mayer is a 2025 OF/RHP, 1B with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Downers Grove, IL who attends Downers Grove South. Recorded a 7.20 second sixty yard dash time. Bigger frame with stocky build. Primary outfielder, rounds ball well fielding one-handed off front foot, keeps arm in line with a long and loose arm action. Right-handed pitcher, works from a belt high leg kick and a medium length stride down the mound. Longer arm action with an over-the-top arm slot. Deceptive delivery with a pause at the top of the leg kick before a full arm swing with a ton of arm speed. Fastball was mid to upper 70s, reaching 78 with some arm-side run. Flashed a change-up with some arm side fade that worked against left-handed hitters and was able to kill spin on. Some ability to sequence and mix locations. Right-handed hitter, starts from an upright stance, utilizes a leg lift trigger to uncoil. High hands and lower back elbow starting position. Uncoils lower half well to create leverage and lift the ball. Good whip to the hands with ability to work uphill. Gets on plane with juice to the pull-side and the pull-side gap. Loud contact when on the barrel. Exciting young player with a high ceiling. Excellent student.
