Jack Kimbrell is a 2025 1B with a 6-4 168 lb. frame from Clover, SC who attends Gaston Christian. Extra tall and lean frame, especially for a young athlete so there is a ton of projection here. Primary position 1B, raw actions around the bag but made all the plays quite well, High start, working methodically through his angles and glove off to the side for the most part with emerging feel for ball. Throws were a bit off target early but improved drastically through the round and showed velocity up to 67 mph. Played all over the infield in game situations and made a wide array of plays. Speed of the game was good, worked backhand and threw on the run. RHH using an upright stance slightly open with hands set at the shoulder a bit away from body. BP round started off rough but improved throughout. A bit rotational in his swing mechanics with a pull oriented approach. Will see big jump in power with natural growth and muscularity in the coming months. Collected several hits in game play. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
