2022 Rocky Mountain Workout Showcase
Dawson Brown is a 2026 SS/OF with a 5-8 140 lb. frame from Lehi, UT who attends Lehi. Dawson has very good footwork into position on the infield. He shows a good feel for staying behind the baseball and getting through it after fielding it to show a strong arm across diamond to first base. He is very athletic and shows smoothness in many areas. Dawson has good speed and is able to be versatile with good attributes from the outfield as well. Offensively, Dawson has a wide base with an open stance. Shows good eye/hand ability with getting back to a closed position on load and then delivering the bat into the zone on plane. His barrel lags a bit at times mostly due to lack of consistent strength through swing. Showed some good barrel strength and rove a couple to the middle of the field. Dawson will be fun to watch develop as he continues to mature and had strength to his athletic frame. Dawson was named to the 2022 Rocky Mountain Workout Top Team List.
