Ethan Elderkin is a 2025 OF/RHP, 3B with a 5-7 155 lb. frame from Ashaway, RI who attends Chariho Regional. Smaller lean build. In the outfield, moves deliberately to the baseball, fielding off to the side, arm lacks carry currently but showed average accuracy to the bases. In the infield, he works quickly to the baseball securing it cleanly, the arm action needs some clean up, looked decent on the slow roller. At the plate, he takes a big load working into a short handsy swing. He sprayed linedrive contact all over the place but the swing just needs some maturation. On the mound, It was a brief outing but forced weak contact with disceptive delivery and arm action. 7.29 60-yard. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
