Landen Johnson is a 2028 RHP/1B with a 6-0 140 lb. frame from Hampton, SC who attends Wade Hampton. Recorded a 8.10 second 60-yard dash time. Primary right-handed pitcher with tall lanky frame and slender young build. Staggered feet start from extreme first base side of the rubber. Short side step to a quick arm swing and 3/4 arm slot getting down the slope. Present arm strength and inline direction with fastball up to 75 mph (1890 RPM) and curveball with solid shape at 64 mph (2045 RPM). Projectable slender frame to add size and velocity as he matures with feel for two quality offerings. Secondary first baseman with young actions around the bag and ability to drop the arm slot on the turn with throws across the diamond at 76 mph. Right-handed hitter with a square base and high back elbow slot in the box. Simple mechanics with feel for the barrel as he matures into young frame. Excellent student. Named to the 13U/14U Southeast Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
