2022 Mid-Atlantic Prospect Showcase
Joseph (Joey) Ciccotelli is a 2024 OF with a 5-10 140 lb. frame from Denville, NJ who attends Parsippany Hills. Ciccotelli works from a medium build with additional room to fill out and add strength in the future. Exclusively from his primary OF spot, he showcased a deep fielding funnel with a quick compact arm action to release quickly and put accurate throws on the bag up to 77 mph. As the footwork refines expect the actions to become more fluid and arm strength to only improve. Offensively, the lefty started from a wider base with a toe-tap trigger to produce line drive impact to the pull side. The stroke was balanced throughout with a compact bat path through the zone. Ran a 6.90 sixty yard dash.
