2011 Spring Top Prospect Showcase
Connor Keating is a 2011 1B/RHP with a 6-8 250 lb. frame from Dousman, WI who attends Kettle Moraine HS. XXL build, very good present strength. Back turn delivery, rotational upper half, limited lower half use, compact arm circle, 3/4's arm slot. Mid 70's fastball, touched 77 mph, mostly straight. Soft curveball at 65 mph. Will improve velocity with better lower half use. Right handed hitter, similar hitting approach to pitching mechanics, hands tight to body at contact, flashes power when extended out front. Good student.
