Thomas Martin is a 2026 LHP/1B with a 5-8 130 lb. frame from Bethel, CT who attends Bethel. Martin works from a young build with plenty of time to fill out and add strength as a '26 prospect. As a primary LHP, he started on the 3B side of the rubber displaying a full windup with a high hand set. Releasing from a 3/4 slot, Martin pounded the zone efficiently and ultimately topped out at 71 mph with velocity development coming in the future. He mixed a bigger shaped curveball with some vertical depth as his primary off speed offering. At 1B, Martin showcased a deep fielding funnel with accurate throws across the diamond and repeatable throwing mechanics. Offensively, the lefty started from a narrow even stance with a high back elbow producing consistent contact back up the middle. Contact tool is evident with power becoming more prominent in the future. Ran a 7.67 sixty yard dash.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
