Ethan Fox is a 2027 C/3B, OF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Phoenix, AZ who attends Brophy College Preparatory. He has a tall, athletic frame with some present strength. Ran a 7.91 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, he showed proper technique with a short arm action through the back, athleticism and arm strength are evident in throws, shows accuracy with a quick release down to second base. On the mound he has good arm action and hides the ball well. He works efficiently and hammers the zone. Athletic delivery with a good front shoulder creating good downward tilt. Fastball topped out at 76 mph and has developing off speed stuff with more to come. He projects well as a pitcher. In the infield he has proper foot and glove mechanics. He made some nice plays on the run and is athletic. He has an accurate arm. Right-handed hitter at the plate, has an upright, even base with a small leg kick for timing. He does a good job staying balanced throughout the swing and showcased good bat speed and strength. Occasionally gets mistimed but swings with intent, shows strength when squared and on time. Excellent student.
