Ranses Zambrano is a 2023 3B/2B with a 5-5 170 lb. frame from Orlando, FL who attends Sunshine State Elite Academy. A compact frame and build. Ran an 8.21 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman who moves well with good lateral range, working low to the ground. He showed off softer hands and a smooth funnel through the middle of his body. Ball comes out well at release online to first base. Threw 76 mph across the infield. A right-handed hitter with a wider base and simple operation with a step and stride into contact. He rotates through contact and gets the hands to it out front. Worked pull-side throughout the round with a couple of balls struck back up the middle as well. Great student.
