Joe Bitonti is a 2027 C/RHP, 1B with a 5-7 160 lb. frame from Star, ID who attends Eagle. A lean build with some physicality into the build. Ran an 8.95 60-yard dash. A primary catcher who sets up with slightly open feet. He gains some ground and develops momentum as he starts to move through the throws. Gets some trunk tilt as he's throwing with an over-the-top arm slot. Gets the ball to the bag with accuracy. A right-handed hitter with high hands and a high back elbow. His back knee is bent with the front side closing off as he loads. Starts slightly open and closes up as he loads up. Gets the hands on plane and gets extended to impact it. Had some quickness to the hands, being able to meet it out front and drive it back up the middle. Took to the mound as s right-handed pitcher with a bigger leg lift working into a high three-quarters delivery. He showed some rhythm and tempo to his actions on the mound. Mixed a fastball and curveball combination during his round. The breaking ball had a bigger shape to it. Showed intent to his actions and was able to command the zone and battle against hitters. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
