Jack Affenita is a 2027 C/OF with a 5-10 130 lb. frame from Bayport, NY who attends Bayport-Blue Point. High-waisted, lean frame with long levers and plenty of room to add strength. Recorded a 7.94 sixty-yard dash time. Primary catcher that received from a slightly side-saddled stance with some quickness out of the crouch and fairly direct midline transfer. Gains ground towards his target with good direction and recorded throws up to 63 mph during drills. Secondary outfielder with anticipatory actions into the fielding process. Fields deliberately with glove out in-front, shuffles into release and maintains some momentum to throw. Recorded arm strength up to 68 mph during drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from a slightly closed stance with a tight hands set and leg lift trigger. Whole field approach with flatter swing path and consistent contact. Incorporates rotational lower half mechanics and produced occasional line drives to the pullside when on-time. Will continue to improve with additional strength and proper mechanical adjustments across the board.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
