Lucas Freedman is a 2026 LHP/1B, OF with a 6-1 160 lb. frame from Larchmont, NY who attends The Masters. Works from a lean lanky frame with physical upside. Primary left-handed pitcher, worked mainly from the stretch and later utilized an abbreviated wind-up, worked at a deliberate pace, loose and easy arm action, some present whip to the arm stroke, fastball showed sink in the lower-third of the zone and played up when thrown in the upper-quadrants, worked all parts of the strike zone, ran the fastball up to 75 mph. Flashed a slurvy breaking ball with varying shape and tilt. Projects for more velocity with added strength. From the outfield, fielded the ball properly off the front foot, compact arm stroke with some quickness to the hand, kept the throws low, recorded arm strength up to 69 mph. Left-handed hitter, starts in an upright stance with a narrow and open base, tight hands, big leg lift trigger, rotational lower-half, drifts forward slightly prior to launch, has some present hand speed, produced contact to the pull-side, recorded an exit velocity of 75 mph. Ran an 8.03 sixty-yard dash. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
