Hunter Gomez is a 2024 SS/RHP, 2B, 3B, MIF, IF with a 5-10 190 lb. frame from Grand Marais, MN who attends Cook County. Medium size physical frame. Primary infielder, corner type footwork, reacts laterally well and takes quality angles to the baseball, softer hands, works through the baseball, has balance and body control in the field and a quick release with developing arm strength. Solid fundamentals defensively. Right-handed hitter hit from an even base and showed a balanced swing with an inconsistent bat path through the zone, takes hands to the ball from a low hand set, developing feel for the barrel. Showed fastball and curve out of an over the top slot on the mound. Low 70's fastballs and a curve with 12-6 shape and some developing feel for spin. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
