Jackson Lang is a 2027 3B/RHP, 1B, OF with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Yorba Linda, CA who attends Mater Dei. Features a taller and lean build with present projection. Ran an 8.09 60-yd dash. In the OF, he waited back at times but fielded everyball clean. Regathered after reception and used a longer loose arm action. Throws were on-line and accurate up to 73 mph. In the INF, he has avg. foot quickness and range projecting more for the corners. Gets into quality fielding posture and maintains that longer arm action he had in the OF. At the plate, he sets up in a wider stance with loose hands. Uses a simple forward move as he loads the barrel into a flatter launch position. The swing is a hands dominant one where he throws the barrel on a direct path through the zone. Deeper contact points resulted in opposite field GBs but when out front he barreled a couple LDs into CF. On the mound, he side steps into a mid chest knee lift and works with a slower-tempo down the mound and lands soft at finish. Uses a longer arm action that releases up to a H ¾ slot. He ran his fastball up to 68 and mixed in a developing breaking ball that had 11-5 shape.
