Ellis Alexander is a 2025 C with a 5-10 166 lb. frame from Chicago, IL who attends Jones College Prep. Medium athletic build with some present strength and more to come. 7.42 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, has some lower half athleticism but tends to get on his heels a bit setting up, clean exchange, has a pause at the top of his arm stroke that impacts his release, has the physical tools to keep improving. Right handed hitter, gets to his front side with early hip turn, has a short swing path with a line drive swing plane, mostly pull side contact. Excellent student.
