Kai Dickinson is a 2024 1B/RHP, 3B with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from San Diego, CA who attends Point Loma. Slender athletic frame. Ran a 7.77 60-yard dash. Versatile two-way player with footwork to handle both corner infield spots, developing glove actions, some quicker lateral reactions and average arm strength with accurate throws around the diamond. Left handed hitter hit from a wide stance with toe tap timing. All fields approach at the plate with a level bat path through the zone, developing bat speed and showed the ability to get to the barrel for line drives in games. Right handed pitcher with a projectable frame and room to fill out. Showed a three pitch-mix on the mound and worked exclusively out of the stretch. Clean fundamentally sound mechanics with repeatable movements in the delivery. Some ability to manipulate the fastball with two quality secondary offerings. Outstanding student.
