Ahmod Smith is a 2027 RHP/C, 2B, SS, OF with a 5-6 124 lb. frame from Garland, TX who attends Lakeview Centennial. Compact, wiry build. Ran a 7.86 in the sixty. Showed well in outfield and infield drills. Developing arm strength and footwork. Good accuracy to the bag and showed well on the backhand on the dirt. Catcher, starts high with good form of transfer. Longer arm slot with accuracy to bag. Also pitched, mixed both the fastball and curveball in for strikes from a high three-quarter slot. Right-handed hitter, open stance and high hand set. Good intent from short path gets on plane and showed best contact to pull side.
