Mathias Fraser is a 2027 C/2B, 3B with a 5-4 130 lb. frame from Delmar, NY who attends Christian Brothers Academy. Young, square shouldered frame with some present strength to frame, will continue to grow and develop moving forward. Ran a 9.60 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, slightly open stance at start, receives the ball out front, deliberate tempo to transfer and can continue to quicken, shows accuracy on throws to second base; takes an extra step moving into release on throws across the infielder, accuracy across and shows balance in movements. Right-handed hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate, hands start pulled in and he keeps them inside throughout swing. Short path to the ball, occasionally gets out front with weight shift, linear path to point of contact, can work to the middle and opposite parts of the field, bat speed will continue to develop with added strength.
