Austin Erickson is a 2026 RHP/1B with a 6-3 215 lb. frame from Justin, TX who attends Ponder. Primary right-handed pitcher with a large sturdy build. Ran a 8.00 second sixty. Works from the wind-up with a leg lift to the belt showing a clean hand break down to a full arm action to a high three-quarters arm slot. Fastball has some arm side run as he falls to the first base side topping out at 82 mph. Showed two off speed with a developing curveball showing top to bottom action and straight changeup in the low 70’s. Shows fine hands at first base receiving the ball out front and funneling in cleanly. Footwork on the double play feeds put him in a good position to make accurate throws. Right-handed hitter starts with a wide base and upright stance. Creates some separation pre-swing and does a nice job getting the upper half rotated to get to contact out front with some strength in the pull side gap. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
