Alex Bowlby is a 2024 OF/LHP with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from St George, ON. Medium frame with slender, projectable frame; ran 60 yard dash in 7.55 seconds. Hits from even-based stance, collapses into backside, high back elbow in set, rotational swing, gets the barrel out front and shows barrel accuracy skills, can unlock more impact with better usage of lower half. Worked out in the outfield, tends to wait back, choppy footwork through movements, fields cleanly, clocked up to 77 mph on throws. Also pitched, works from stretch with quick tempo and compact arm stroke, fastball worked 73-79 mph with slight arm side life, flashed sweeper slider with soft break.
