Logan Jones is a 2027 RHP/1B, 3B, OF with a 5-11 190 lb. frame from Haslet, TX who attends V R Eaton. Primary right=handed pitcher shows a stocky thick build. Worked out the stretch primarily on the mound with a belt high leg lift finding the zone with a low to mid 70's fastball when the hand is one time and getting o a good release point. Worked in a young curveball in the upper 50's that landed with 12-6 shape when he got it over for a strike. Plays with the glove out front in the outfield working to the ball and receiving it on the left side as he shuffles into the throws showing developing arm strength. Does a nice job moving around the ball with young footwork as he slows himself down to receive the ball. Takes his time with the gather working into his throws with young arm strength. Right-handed hitter, starts with an open base using a toe tap trigger. Showed some strength when the barrel get out front over a stiff front side giving him something to hit into. Worked with his loudest contact to the pull side.
