Carson Allen is a 2025 1B/3B, OF, UT with a 6-0 150 lb. frame from Midlothian, VA who attends Manchester. Lean current build with good frame to add physicality and strength down the line. Moves well on his feet with solid overall athleticism. Primary position 1B, showing good feel around the bag and creating proper angles. Accurate glove work with some softness to the operation. Full arm path with carry on throws that reached 79 mph across the diamond. Accurate feeds, all the actions of a solid defender. LHH starting with an open and upright stance. Quick rhythm to his mechanics, exaggerated high hanging leg lift to get loaded. High back elbow and rigid hand load before accelerating the barrel. A lot of moving parts but he gets on plane well with a pull oriented approach. Some power projection as he develops more strength and performed well in live AB action. Outstanding student and a lot to look forward to as a prospect.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
