2023 WWBA Workout Showcase (Wed)
Keegan Russell is a 2025 RHP/1B with a 6-6 235 lb. frame from Whitby, ON who attends All Saints. Extra-large, long limbed frame with some present strength and additional room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.18 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher who was recently up to 87 mph at the Junior National Showcase. Showed off actions at first base, feeds the ball well on turn, deliberate tempo to actions and can implement additional lower half into release, fundamentally sound and shows balance. Left-handed hitter, begins with a weight shift onto backside and employs a toe tap trigger for timing. Lets the ball travel, looks to incorporate strength at the point of contact; lays barrel flat at start of swing, hands stroke and shows some jump coming off when squared. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
