Angelo Barton is a 2025 C with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Kitchener, ON. Medium frame with solid, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.80 seconds. Hits from slightly open stance with hands set low near back hip, active churning of hands into load, launches inside-out and creates inside-out path, tends to hit off of front side, shows solid contact skills with middle-opposite field approach, will add more impact as pull-side comes into play more. Worked out behind the plate, even set with good flex in hips, tends to stand straight up, quick transfer with quick release, clocked up to 73 mph on throws with carry to the bag, solid catch-and-throw tools.
