Jj Lott is a 2028 LHP/1B, OF with a 5-6 155 lb. frame from Scottsdale, AZ who attends Chaparral. Medium, compact frame with plenty of time and room to physically mature. Recorded a 9.53 second sixty-yard dash. Primary left-handed pitcher that worked from a full windup delivery with deliberate actions into balance and medium stride length out to foot strike. Fastball worked in the 64-66 mph range for the duration of his outing and topped out at 67 mph from an extended three-quarters arm slot. Showcased developing command of the strike zone, mixed in a developing breaking ball with gradual depth to it. Secondary first baseman with a developing defensive skill set. Displayed some lateral range and accurate throws up to 67 mph during drills. Left-handed hitter that hits from an upright, narrow base with high, tight hands and a hanging leg lift trigger. Intent based stroke with flatter swing path and middle-of-the field approach, will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and additional strength.
