John Burdge is a 2027 1B/RHP/OF with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Anaheim, CA who attends Servite. Features a big, sturdy, projectable frame. He has a three-pitch mix that include a fastball, slider and change up. His fastball has arm side run and he has the ability to locate efficiently. His slider is affective with sweeping movement. At first base he showed proper footwork and glove technique. Does a good Job working through the ball with clean transfers and accurate double play feeds. At the plate he has an open stance with a toe tap trigger. He takes a direct path to the ball with an up the middle approach. Strong hands with good bat speed. More to come with maturity.
