Christopher Perrotta is a 2027 SS/OF with a 5-9 140 lb. frame from Sussex, NJ who attends Vernon Twp. Medium, square shouldered frame with a lean build and room to grow throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.38 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, stays low on the approach to the baseball, developing range but works to spots and makes the plays, glove plays out front, shorter arm stroke through the backside and shows ability to change slots as needed. Also pitched, full wind up on the mound, starts on the middle of rubber, utilizes a coiled leg lift just above belt at start and breaks into an arm stroke that works to a three-quarters release. Fastball topped out at 69 mph, mostly true through the zone in life but maintained velocity throughout and mixed a bigger curveball up to 59 mph to give hitters a different look. Right-handed hitter, begins with an open stance and a compact hand set; utilizes a leg lift trigger for timing in the box. Full swing path through the zone, occasionally gets to front side early with weight shift, handles the barrel and shows ability to work to all parts of the field. Shows present bat speed and creates some lift in swing path on occasion.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
