Mason Griffin is a 2025 OF/RHP with a 6-0 180 lb. large athletic frame from Windsor, CO who attends Fossil Ridge. At the plate he starts with a slightly open athletic stance. Has some present bat speed and a level swing path. Could benefit from using his lower half more. Heavy pull approach, had some jump off the bat when squared up. Defensively showed sound foot/glove/transfer mechanics and worked through the ball properly. Made all the throws required to the base one-hopping the mitt with carry. On the mound Griffin shows the proper fundamentals and has a repeatable delivery. Hides the ball well with an over the top arm slot. Tends to miss arm side on his fastball but attacked hitter with confidence. Clocked a 7.13 60-yard dash. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
