Lane Daley is a 2028 2B/RHP with a 5-6 116 lb. frame from Fort Worth, TX who attends Trinity Valley. Slender young build. 8.51 runner in the sixty. Primary second baseman on defense, has good footwork from side to side and stays balanced well, has some range to his left, glove tends to get down late, developing arm strength. Right handed hitter, starts from a tight hand load with a turned in front foot, has a short inside swing path with primarily opposite field contact, bat speed will continue to improve with additional strength. Also pitched, has a simple delivery, limited hip and shoulder turn, compact arm action, will need to get more lower half and rotation into his delivery as he moves forward. Fastball topped out at 61 mph, only threw fastballs.
