Trent Kellas is a 2027 1B/RHP with a 6-3 175 lb. frame from Carlsbad, CA who attends Carlsbad. Features a tall, long, lean projectable, athletic frame with long arms and legs . Three-pitch mix (Fastball, Curveball, Changeup). Shows fundamentally sound mechanic with a repeatable delivery out of a 3/4 slot. One of the better pitchers in the showcase that displayed the ability to throw strikes consistently and challenge hitters. Showed an excellent changeup with good fade to the arm side. Was able to produce swing and misses. At the plate he has a wide base with a big leg lift. Bat speed is present. Up the middle approach squaring up balls consistently. Showed some pull side juice. He is an excellent student.
