Jayden Salas Guardado is a 2028 C with a 5-6 156 lb. frame from Hacienda Heights, CA who attends Los Altos. Compact, wiry build with room for added growth. Ran a 8.17 in the sixty. Catcher, higher two knee set with a solid arm in his round. Bit of carry to the bag and solid size that shows behind dish. Arm and accuracy stood out at points. Right-handed pitcher, works from high three-quarter slot and medium arm action. Longer stride length in finish. Fastball worked to both corners, nabbed for strikes. Flahsed feel for a couple of 11-5 breaking balls with a bit of good shape and snap out of the hand. Good feel for both. Right-handed hitter, even base and high hand set. Good extension and looseness to the barrel. Projects well with added strength and flashed good feel in his round. Lots to work with.
