Nicky Soares is a 2028 2B/RHP, C, OF with a 5-4 115 lb. frame from Selbyville, DE who attends Stephen Decatur. Recorded an 8.21 60-yard dash. Primary second baseman and showed advanced footwork in the infield. Employed a compact release, throwing from a high slot. Starts from a high stance behind the plate and uses a longer transfer. Also worked out in the outfield and moved to ball confidently, fielding the ball off to the left side, and showing a clean transfer. Right-handed hitter and starts from an even base with a low back elbow. Displayed a short and compact stroke, showing quick hands and good feel for the barrel. Had a consistent round, using the middle of the field often during the round. Secondary right-handed pitcher and begins delivery with a leg lift to chest level. Fastball showed good arm side run and mixed in curveball with 12-6 shape, throwing lots of strikes.
