Joe Amberson is a 2026 C with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Wexford, PA who attends North Allegheny. Medium young build with lots of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight bent knee stance with a lift and replace front leg trigger, long uphill swing, looking to lift and pull the ball, upper body rotational swing, got the ball in the air, bat speed will continue to improve with additional strength and more lower half use. 7.64 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, has young footwork into his throws, good glove to hand transfer, multi-part arm action with developing arm strength. Very good student.
