2022 13U/14U Southwest Prospect Showcase
Evan Lord is a 2028 RHP/3B, MIF with a 5-6 115 lb. frame from Scottsdale, AZ who attends Chaparral. Good length to frame that can fill out as he physically matures. Ran a 8.60 in the 60-yard dash. Right-handed pitcher, starts from traditional windup with a low leg lift into a high three-quarter delivery and shorter stride down the mound post foot strike. Good direction for age, lands on line well. Fastball reached low-60s with good depth to a curveball. Looks comfortable and projects. Also showed a strong arm in infield drills with solid actions and present accuracy across the diamond. Left-handed hitter from a wider base and medium hand set. Works the barrel out front with some rhythm to load. Shows feel and quick hands get through the zone with some intent. Named to Top Prospect list.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
