Easton Newman is a 2026 SS/OF with a 5-10 145 lb. frame from Deerfield, IL who attends Deerfield. Medium frame with slender, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 6.92 seconds. Hits from wide-based stance, loads quick and stays dynamic through load and launch, quick launch with fast hands, solid bat speed with direct path, projects well as he continues adding strength. Primary middle infielder, shows solid balance and lateral agility with feel for glove work, showed off the arm up to 84 mph across. Graded out slightly better in the outfield, fluid movements with clean arm stroke, clocked up to 85 mph. Good student, named to 2023 Great Lakes Showcase Top Prospect List.
