Drew Stiner is a 2011 C/3B with a 6-1 210 lb. frame from Sand Springs, OK who attends Owasso. Strong lean build, good present strength. Strong armed catcher who showed excellent defensive skills. Very good receiver with good lateral agility, good in game pop time (1.89), has been consistently in the low 1.9s throughout the spring, occasional upper 1.8s. Advanced approach to hitting, good decisions at the plate, works the count well. Uses hands well at the plate, strong at contact, has solid bat speed, some power potential. Good hitting tools, gets additional offensive value from making pitchers work and battling well to get good pitches to hit. Pitched well also, sharp slider, good changeup, threw strikes. Good student, committed to Oklahoma State.
