Ryder Hanley is a 2025 1B/RHP/OF with a 6-5 210 lb. frame from Decatur, TX who attends Decatur. Primary first baseman with an extra large build showing some present strength on the frame. Ran a 7.86 second sixty. Showed an aggressive approach on the infield attacking the baseball and keeping his feet moving as he gained ground toward his target with young arm strength with an ability to change the arm slot. Takes a similar approach in the outfield working to the ball aggressively stopping the momentum to receive the ball on the side with a longer gather and long arm action showing accuracy to the bases. Works from the stretch only on the mound with simple mechanics getting to a consistent over the top arm slot while staying tall on the back side as he comes down the mound. Fastball sat in the low 70’s while in the zone and paired with a mid 60’s breaking ball. Right-handed hitter starts with an open stance transferring his weight to the backside. Bat path shows some loft through the hitting zone with strength to grow into down the line. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
