Finn Cooney is a 2027 RHP/1B, 3B with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Phoenix, AZ who attends Brophy College Preparatory. Medium, square shouldered frame with long limbs and a lean build. Ran a 7.63 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, on the mound he has simple mechanics. He throws from a three quarter arm slot with a short release and does a good job hiding the ball until release. Fastball topped out at 75 mph and was consistently around he zone throughout. In the infield he showed an accurate arm and fielded the ball cleanly, deliberate tempo to actions, carry across will continue to develop. Right-handed hitter, begins with an open and upright stance at the plate and utilizes a moderate leg kick. Contact oriented approach, shows some quickness to path and maintains a linear plane while showing the ability to work to all fields. Very good student.
