2023 West Coast Prospect Showcase
Jordan Tagawa is a 2027 RHP/MIF with a 5-6 115 lb. frame from Agoura Hills, CA who attends Agoura. Lean body. Super short takeback to low three quarters release. Developing arm speed. Fastballs only for the most part. Pitching to contact, getting fly balls and eating innings. Body has plenty of room to add. In the outfield he showed proper footwork and glove technique with the ability to work through the ball. He has short arm action with accuracy. At the plate he has a narrow base and a short stride to contact. He he has an up the middle approach with good barrel control. More to come with the bat speed as he develops.
