Matt Petersen is a 2009 RHP/OF with a 5'10'', 185 lb. frame from Long Grove, IA who attends North Scott HS. Square shouldered frame, good present strength. Low 3/4's release, opens early, lots of 2-seam FB's at 77 mph, FB tops 81, soft CB. Throws K's, competes hard. Hit ball very hard in games, power to mid field, has bat speed, used his strength, quick hands. 7.06 runner with good OF arm. Good student.
