Jacob Metzger is a 2027 RHP/IF with a 5-11 147 lb. frame from Holt, MI who attends Holt. Recorded a 7.05 60-yard dash. Primary roght-handed pitcher with a lean frame. Employs a leg lift to waist level, landing on line at foot strike. Drop and drive delivery and uses a longer arm action, releasing from a high-3/4 slot. Fastball featured moderate arm side run, topping at 79 mph. Mixed in a curveball with 11-5 shape. Under control and lower effort release. Also worked out in the outfield and carries momentum through throws well. One hop accuracy to the bases and recorded throws up to 81 mph from the outfield. Right-handed hitter and starts from a wide base with even feet. Employs an inside swing path and produced line drive contact. Showed ability to use the whole field.
