CJ Prentiss is a 2026 C/3B, OF with a 5-9 158 lb. frame from O Fallon, IL who attends O'Fallon. Recorded a 7.17 sixty yard dash time. Medium frame with room to fill. Primary catcher, uses a side set up, gains some ground with the footwork. Quicker and clean transfer with accuracy to the tag zone. Secondary third baseman that moves well laterally with quick feet. Footwork direct to the baseball. Developing hands that work hard and catch it cleanly. Right-handed hitter, starts with a wide base and open feet, utilizes a toe tap stride. Pull-heavy approach that looks to get the ball in the air with some extension. Intriguing player with some upside as the frame continues to develop. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
