Kaden Powers is a 2026 RHP/1B with a 5-11 145 lb. frame from Groveland, IL, who attends Morton. A slender frame and a lean build. Ran a 7.32 60-yard dash. A primary right-handed pitcher who worked out of the stretch with drop and drive mechanics moving down the rubber. Had a belt-high leg lift working into a high-three-quarters arm slot with decent arm speed. Produced a mid-70s fastball that he paired with an 11-5 shaped breaking ball that spun up to 2,087 RPMs. A right-handed hitter with high-set hands and a high back elbow. Had a deep hand load with a wider base and closed-off front side. He works direct to the ball. Produced some hard contact on the ground early in his BP round with a couple of well-struck balls to the back of the cage during his round of BP. Also worked out as a first baseman with two-handed fielding up the middle of his body. Made accurate throws across the field and good flight on feeds to second. Threw 74 mph across the diamond during his round of throws. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
