Rashid McLeod is a 2024 SS/C/2B/OF with a 6-2 177 lb. frame from Baltimore, MD who attends Baltimore Polytechnic Institute. McLeod works from a long limbed and projectable build with additional room to fill out. He worked from a variety of defensive spots over the course of his event, starting from the IF where he showcased solid lateral range with quicker footwork up the middle, making some nice plays to both sides. McLeod has natural athleticism present and will continue to improve as the glove refines. He also worked from both the OF and behind the dish where he displayed developing arm strength with whip to the arm stroke, topping out at 80 mph from the former. Posted a 2.18 pop time. Offensively, the righty started from an even base with a simple leg lift trigger successfully getting the barrel out in front with bat speed to pair. McLeod generated consistent contact gap to gap and has tools to project on. Ran a 7.17 sixty yard dash.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
