Ryder Rush is a 2027 SS/RHP, 2B, MIF with a 5-11 135 lb. frame from Mesa, AZ who attends Desert Ridge. Features a tall, slender build with room to add. Ran a 7.76 60-yard dash. Primary infielder. Displays quality fundamentals on the dirt with the ability to move well laterally. Sound actions make the routine play consistently. Threw 75 mph across the diamond with more in the tank. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes an open stance with a wide base. Shifts weight using a toe tap timing mechanism. Swings on a linear path with some extension out front. Approach allows for the entire field to be used. Bat speed and power will continue to develop as strength is added. Right-handed pitcher. Uses a semi-windup delivery with tall and fall mechanics. Stays under control down the mound. Hides the ball well into a 3/4 slot release. Fastball sat 70-73 mph with armside run. Offering works well at the bottom of the zone. Flashed a low-60’s curveball with short, downward action. Still developing confidence in the offering. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
